| The plan is a design for ‘good living’
that is not understood as consuming singular ‘visions’,
authorized by one developer or architect. . The planning codes
are not meant to aesthetically prescribe questions of style
or vision. It’s purpose is rather to enable creating
a community which is orderly in such a way that it acknowledges
the ethical importance of elementary social and bodily pleasures,
and also a sense of communal pride in difference and distinction. |
